I purchased this door assembly (SMARTSTANDARD 56in x 84in Bifold Barn Door, Frosted Glass Barn Door with Hardware Kit Included, Pre-Drilled Holes Easy Assembly -Solid Barn Doors Slab Covered with Water-Proof PVC Surface, White) from Amazon and was initially very happy with how it looked. However, after only a few weeks, the pulley base hardware snapped, making the bifold door impossible to close and creating a safety hazard.
Amazon directed me to Smart Standard for parts, but after emailing the company multiple times, I have received no response. It is extremely frustrating to be ignored when seeking a simple replacement part. I don’t want to uninstall and return the entire door, but the lack of customer service is unacceptable. Avoid this brand if you value after-sales support.
